Angus hit the headlines at the age of 2 when he decided to go hunting on his own and returned home 2 hours later carrying his old slipper which had been thrown away in a skip earlier the same day. The newspapers and television stations thought his 5 mile hike was humorous enough to warrant appearing in every daily newspaper in England and many newspapers throughout the world. He received much fan mail and his exploits prompted the television stations to ask him to reconstruct his exploits for a couple of programmes. He enjoyed his 'special ' outings very much.
